On September 2–3, the Library takes part in the celebration of the Day of Belarusian Writing. It’s not the first time when Polotsk takes up the torch of the annual national holiday, but 2017 is not an exception!
This year is marked by the 500th anniversary of Belarusian and East Slavic book printing – an event associated with the activities of the famous Polotsk citizen Francysk Skaryna. Therefore, we are going to honor the outstanding first printer in his historic homeland.
