On January, 13th, a literary soiree with Belarusian poet Fyodor Borovoy and presentation of his new book In the Arms of Century took place at the National Library conference hall.
Guests of the soiree listened to verses from the author’s new collection. Belarusian writers and publishers of the book shared their reviews and memoirs. Author Fyodor Borovoy carried on a live dialogue with spectators creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
At the lyrical soiree songs written by the author and musical compositions for the violin, the guitar, the grand piano and the violoncello were performed. The event made a kind and clear impression upon amateurs of Fyodor Borovoy’s poetry.
Fyodor Borovoy’s creativity is an ode of love, the love as a feeling and an outlook. His songs and poems are full of pleasure and despair reflecting the spirit of our time and glorifying the strength and beauty of a human soul, the sincerity and depth of feelings and the uniqueness of love.
Well-known lyrical poetess Rimma Kazakova tells about the poet’s creativity: “These verses give warmth; they are full of an invincible will of happiness, the striving for a unique and real love, so they attract like a cheerful crackle of logs in the oven on a frosty day, like the first victorious spring sun. And methinks the loving human soul can hold so much, so boundlessly much caress, good and light”.
