On April 1st, a soiree of humor “Lightly about the serious” takes place at the National Library. The event is arranged by the library, the publishing house “Chetyre chetvetri” and the Union of Writers of Belarus.
As part of the event, there will be held a presentation of books of the publishing series “Lightly about the serious”. Guests of the soiree will meet comic writers and artist and book illustrator Valentine Gubarev. Authors will read out their humoresques, feuilletons and literary parodies. Guests will enjoy performances of a children’s dancing collective and the chamber chorus Klassika.
On the occasion of the event the National Library of Belarus has prepared a thematic exhibition of editions printed by the publishing house “Chetyre chetvetri”. Besides, guests will have an opportunity to acquire books with autographs.
The event starts at 4.30 p.m. in the gallery “Labyrinth” в (3rd floor).
