On January 29, 2024, an instructional and methodological meeting with the ideological asset of Minsk was held at the National Library of Belarus.
The purpose of the event was to discuss topical issues of information work on the eve of a single voting day.
The speakers were Olga Chemodanova, head of the main department of ideological work and Youth Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Chairman of the Minsk City Union of Trade Unions, Chairman of the Minsk City Election Commission Alexander Shchekovich, General Director of the UE "Minsk-News Agency" Andrey Krivosheev, First Secretary of the MSO NGO "BRSM" Roman Bondaruk and Chairman of the MSO RPA "Belaya Rus" Natalia Voronova.
The event was attended by deputy heads of administrations of Minsk districts, heads of departments (department) of ideological work, culture and youth affairs of Minsk district administrations, activists of public organizations of public associations "Belaya Rus", "BRSM", "BUW", trade unions of Pervomaisky, Sovetsky and Frunzensky districts of Minsk.
The participants discussed the main tasks and forms of information work with the population during the single voting day, tools of destructive propaganda during the pre-election period and methods of countering them, the course of the election campaign on the territory of Minsk, the work of public organizations during the election campaign.
The meeting ended with a summing up.
