On 8 April, the library hosted a workshop on “The System of Intgrated Search on EBSCO Discovery Service: implementation and practice in the National Library of Belarus".

The event was organized by the National Library of Belarus and EBSCO Information Services, one of the world’s leading aggregators of scientific electronic information resources.

Representatives of the company Andrei Sokolov and Douglas Heinz introduced the attendees to the system of integrated search for electronic information resources on EBSCO Discovery Service, and the technology of its integration with electronic catalogs of libraries. The system of integrated search for remote information resources in the electronic catalog of the National Library of Belarus was presented.

The event was attended by representatives of libraries and information centers.
