The exhibition project “History in time” of the gymnasium-college n.a. I.O. Ahremchik will be opened on June 21.
The gymnasium-college n.a. I.O. Ahremchik is considered a recognized alma mater of the Belarusian art. The institution has educated musicians and artists annually since 1962. The gymnasium-college turns 55 in 2017. Its graduates organize a series of events “Parnat. Makaenka str, 14”, dedicated to the jubilee. The informal term parnat is a slang word to name the gymnasium-college in the Belarusian professional cultural community.
The exhibition “History in time” is a special project in the jubilee series of events “Parnat. Makaenka str, 14”. It is a tribute to artists, graduates of the gymnasium-college, who finished earthly course, but left their works, which reflect the world of feelings, thoughts and emotions.
The exposition presents works of the Belarusian artists K. Sharangovich (1956–2014), A. Ldokov(1958–1989), V. Dashkevich (1970–2015), D. Khmyznikov (1970–1995), A. Timoschenko (1971–2003).
The presentation begins at 4 p.m. in the gallery “Labyrinth” (3rd floor).
The exhibition runs until July 22, 2016.
