The opening of the exhibition of paintings “Tryputnik” of Vasil Piaškun, Hanna Silivončyk and Maryja Piaškun will take place at the “Panorama” gallery at 16.00 on September 24.


The family of artists Vasil Piaškun, Hanna Silivončyk and their daughter Maryja Piaškun invite to get into the atmosphere of carefree summer and take a small virtual tour around the Belarusian places.

Vasil is a scholar of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus on support of the talented youth, participant of numerous national and international exhibitions. More than a dozen solo exhibitions were held. The artist was awarded the medal "Talent and Vocation" of the International Alliance "Peacemaker" in 2008.

Hanna Silivončyk is a graduate of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts (Department of easel painting). She became a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists in 2008. She was awarded the medal "Talent and Vocation" of the International Alliance "Peacemaker" in 2009.

Maryja is a young talent, participant of the plein air "U Pošukach Atlantydy", the plein air named after Jazep Drazdovič, several exhibitions on the results of the plein airs, the exhibition project "Masha i medvedi".

Art lovers will see at the exhibition paintings created during summer trips around Belarus. Only the newest paintings, the most recent experiences and the paints will be presented at the exposition.

The exhibition will run until October 21, 2015.

On May 5, the 205th anniversary of the birth of Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872), the world-famous composer and conductor, our countryman, who made a significant contribution to the formation of Belarusian musical culture, is celebrated. By this date, the National Library of Belarus has updated the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created five years ago, and now replenished with new unique materials.

A new project of the National Library of Belarus is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War – "Reading newspaper lines with your heart. On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders."
