On the International Language Day, students of the Gymnasium-College of Arts named after I.V. Akhremchik and pupils of secondary school number 42 in Minsk visited the National Library and made an excursion in the mother tongue.
During the tour the young guests got acquainted with the architectural features and history of the library and found their favorite Belarusian books in the library’s collections using the electronic catalog.
At the end of the event the schoolchildren showed their own knowledge by reciting poems in the Belarusian language to their classmates, teachers and library staff.
