On February 15, the library hosted an online webinar "Disinfection of library documents", which was attended by representatives of 28 regional, district and republican libraries.
During the event, the microbiologist of the National Library of Belarus Ekaterina Volynets spoke about the causes of damage to paper documents by mold, about the organization of a workplace for disinfection, illustrated the stages of the disinfection process of a document affected by micromycetes. She focused on maintaining regulatory storage conditions to prevent biological damage to funds.
