On 27 June, the creative meeting with writer A. Butevich and the presentation of his new book were held at the gallery Labyrinth.


At the creative meeting Anatoly Butevich presented his new book The Mysteries of the Nesvizh Palace. A Journey to the Deeps of Time with Wladyslav Syrokomla published by the publishing house Zvyazda. The book is about the most significant and fascinating episodes in the history of the Nesvizh Palace, the town of Nesvizh and the Radzivils noble family who were reputed to be the uncrowned kings.

At the event spoke: First Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus Elena Dolgopolova, director of the publishing house Zvyazda Alexander Karlyukevich, chairman of the Nesvizh Regional Council of Deputies Valery Lozyuk, writer, poet, publicist, journalist and executive director of the broadcasting station Belarus Naum Galperovich, people’s artist of Belarus, prima of the National Academic Theater name after Yanka Kupala Maria Zakharevich, author of the book series Seven Miracles of Belarus, public figure, writer, translator, publicist and critic Anatoly Butevich and others.

Anatoly Butevich’s’s friends and colleagues as well as lovers of his writing came to congratulate the writer on his anniversary and the publication of his new book. Author of the The Mysteries of the Nesvizh Palace. A Journey to the Deeps of Time with Wladyslav Syrokomla told the audience about his impressions on his work over the book. All guests of the event had an opportunity to get the writer’s autograph.

The vocal group of the people’s folk song ensemble Gamanina and student of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, participant of the vocal studio Shans Nikita Dubko presented their creative performances to the audience.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
