On 9th July, at 4 p.m., the opening ceremony of the exhibition of winners of the Lithuanian national design contest Geras dizainas – 2013 is to be held in the gallery Labyrinth (3rd floor).
The purpose of the contest is to reveal and present to public the best design created by Lithuanian designers or introduced by Lithuanian enterprises in last two years. The contest organizers – the Association Lietuvos dizaino forumas (Lithuanian Design Forum) and the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania – expect that the community will recognize the importance of design as a branch of industry. It will promote the development of creative industry and economy as a whole.
Members of the international jury including chairman of the Belarusian Union of Designers Dmitry Sursky have examined works of all kinds of design: industrial and graphic design, packaging design, clothing, interior and multimedia design.
