An exhibition project titled "You are from the Western, I'm from the East Part of our Belarus" (in Belarusian: “Ты з Заходняй, я з Усходняй нашай Беларусі”), timed to the 80th anniversary of the reunification of the BSSR, has opened in the library, on September 17.

The organizers are the National Library of Belarus, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings.

Elena Dolgopolova, first deputy director of the National Library of Belarus, Andrei Demyanyuk, director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Alla Kot, curator of the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, and Anatoly Veliky, principal scientist of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, head of the Department of History of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank spoke at the opening of the exhibition.

During the event, Victor Pshibytko, head of the Electronic Library Development Department of the National Library of Belarus, presented an electronic resource titled “Belarusian literary heritage. Magazines 1919–1939” (in Belarusian: “Беларуская літаратурная спадчына. Часопісы 1919–1939 гг.”). It provides access to the Belarusian literary magazines, which had been published in the BSSR and Western Belarus between 1919 and 1939. More than 1,300 issues from the collections of the National Library of Belarus, the Presidential Library of the Republic of Belarus, the Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences and other information centers in Belarus and abroad are available.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
