The National Library of Belarus is providing test access to the Cambridge University Press databases from October 1 to October 28, 2010.


Shakespeare Survey Online is the electronic version of Shakespeare Survey Journal. Each issues covers a particular topic, play or a series of plays and contains surveys on all published articles and critics about modern Shakespeare staging in Britain.

The archive comprises 60 volumes. There are PDF documents since 1948.

Cambridge Companions Onlineis the electronic version of the famous series Cambridge Readers. The collection includes materials on classical disciplines: literature, philosophy, religion and culture.   

The archive comprises about 300 volumes and provides author, title, header and subject search. The database is constantly updated.

Cambridge Histories Online is the unique collection of electronic copies of books on history that includes:

  • editions on the world political and economic history (Histories of China, Japan, Africa, Latin America, Islam, Iran etc);
  • editions on other branches of history and historical science (The Cambridge History of Renaissance Political Thought, Cambridge Modern History, the Cambridge History of English Literature, the Cambridge Medieval History, the Cambridge Ancient History etc).

The archive comprises more than 250 volumes (196 000 text pages). There are PDF documents since 1960. The database is constantly updated.

Adam Shanyavsky and the library fund of the Nesvizh county school (the last quarter of the XVIII century)

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
