A Teaching Tour for Alenka Children's Development Center
Other news

On March 23, pupils of Alenka Children's Development Center (Brest) made a teaching tour focused on the life and work of Mark Chagall. The event was part of the Outstanding People of the Motherland tour series.

The boys and girls came to Minsk to participate in the Fifth International Competition "Crossroads. Minsk” and visited the National Library of Belarus. Most of them are engaged in visual arts, that was why the teaching tour was about Mark Chagall.

The guys got acquainted with the architectural features and interior design of the “diamond of knowledge” and watched the Book Museum’s expositions. Then, the pupils and their parents had an interactive lesson on Mark Chagall. They learned interesting facts about their great countryman and completed creative tasks with the help of an interactive panel. At the end of the lesson, the young artists told about themselves and showed albums with their works.

The excursion ended on the observation platform. On the 22nd floor, the guests made sketches of the surroundings of the National Library of Belarus as they saw them from a height of over 70 meters.

We hope that we inspired the guys for creativity, and invite everyone who is interested in art, history and literature to the Outstanding People of the Motherland tour series.
