On 11 October, third-graders of gymnasium 29 in Minsk attended a lesson at the exhibition “Francysk Skaryna and his epoch”.
The classes offer a unique opportunity to study the national book culture with the help of a rich collection of book monuments presented at the exhibition, which reflects the heritage of Francysk Skaryana and his predecessors and followers both in Belarus and Europe. The young guests became acquainted with the “long-liver” books, which overstepped the 500-year boundary. Special attention was paid to the book
At the end of the lesson the kids made and signed postcards congratulating their parents on the 500th anniversary of the Belarusian book-printing. Each attendee could embody their fantasy and skill by creating an original souvenir card.
