On May 25, a delegation of the Frontier Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, led by General of the Army Vladimir Kulishov, visited the library.
During the excursion, the director of the National Library of Belarus, Roman Motulsky, introduced the guests of honor to the history and architectural features of the library.
Members of the delegation visited the Round Hall, Observation Deck and Book Museum.
At the exhibition of art holograms "Education. Cognition. Progress", the guests got acquainted with the best achievements of Belarusian scientists in the field of holography.
In the Book Museum, the guests visited the exposition “The Peoples of the World and Their Primers”, presenting various and unique editions of the very first literacy book, and viewed original and facsimile editions of Francysk Skaryna, which are the most valuable legacy of the book culture of Belarus.
At the end of the meeting, Roman Motulsky presented a memorable gift to the guests.
