The thematic exhibition “World without Bad Habits takes place in the Periodicals reading room (room 106) from May 2 to June 26.

Evolution provided the human body with inexhaustible reserves of strength and reliability, and nature created it for a long and happy life. But the realization of the possibilities inherent in a person depends on his lifestyle, everyday behavior, habits, ability to manage health for the benefit of himself, his family and the state.

A number of habits that a person acquires during the school years and which he can not give up, seriously harm his health. They quickly use the full potential of human capabilities, contribute to premature aging and the acquisition of sustainable diseases. At the exhibition there are publications in the numerous magazines and newspapers about the smoking, alcohol and drugs pernicious influence on human health.

Food habits are also dangerous and common, bringing a lot of trouble and difficulties and negatively affecting the work of the human body. There are presented articles on issues of overeating and overweight, bulimia and anorexia.

Sometimes we do not even suspect that our addictions and everyday actions are the way to self-destruction. Procrastination and evasion of spotlight, shopaholism, profanity and gossip become a source of unnecessary experiences. Some periodicals will acquaint with common psychological habits.

Some magazines touch upon the issue of Internet addiction, which is on a par with drug addiction, smoking and alcoholism today.

The exhibition presents about 40 periodicals in total.
