From October 9, the book exhibition dedicated to Belarusian writer and journalist, the winner of 2015 Nobel Prize in Literature Svetlana Alexievich runs in the National Library (on the 3rd floor, in the circular corridor).


The exposition includes about 40 editions: the Belarusian writer’s works in Belarusian and Russian languages, and also her books translated into English, French, German, Czech, Japanese, Hungarian and Estonian languages.

The offered exhibition also presents a set of literature about the history of the Noble Prize and its famous winners and a book about the Nobel laureates of Belarusian origin.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
