The National Library of Belarus offers an anniversary exhibition «The flowers of poetry” timed to the 60th birthday of Fyodor Gurinovich, the Belarusian poet, laureate of Y. Mavr Literary Prize (1998). The exhibition runs at the Belarusian Literature Reading Room (room 205) from September 9 to September 30.
Poet Fyodor Gurinovich, a real patriot of his native Soligors region, berhymes Belarusian nature, the labor of grain-growers and miners.
The exhibition consists of two sections – “The beauty of the native land” and “The memory remains”. The first section presents collections of the poems and children’s books by Fyodor Gurinovich edited in different years, along with his works published in periodicals.
The second section of the exposition contains materials on the poets’ life and career.
The exhibition presents about 50 documents.
