A thematic exhibition “Health destroyers – harmful habits” has been organized since July 1 till August 29 in the periodicals reading room (106).
Alcoholism, smoking, drug abuse are urgent and serious modern problems, a cause of manifold illnesses and early mortality. “Cultural poison” alcohol and nicotine bring a lot of troubles and sufferings to families, work collective, are a social evil for the society. Drug abuse and illegal drug trade in many countries have taken catastrophic dimensions. Not just the society should fight with these problems. Every person should remember about destructive consequences of the unhealthy lifestyle and try to stand against it.
The exhibition presents nearly 40 periodicals.
The publications from health magazines will help understand harmful habits from the point of view of medicine. Articles from the periodicals about the society will inform about the fight against alcoholism, drug addiction, smoking as a legal problem. The educational magazines will disclose social aspects of the existence of bad habits.
