From February 20, 2009, to March 12, 2009, in the National Library of Belarus (second floor, circular hall) is open a book exhibition dedicated to the Day of the Fatherland Defenders.
At the exposition are displayed more than 150 materials on the history of the Belarusian Red Banner command, creation and development of Belarusian national army (the early 1990s), documents revealing the modern Belarusian State’s policy in the field of armed forces, as well as encyclopedias and explanatory dictionaries on the world military history, military art and armament, as well as anniversary publications by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus and “VoenTV” TV company: books, DVD-ROM, journals and collected poetry.
