We invite you to the exhibition “Around the World Through the Pages of Books” in the reading room of the Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Department (room 164) from June 15 to August 26.

The book is the greatest teacher of mankind. From infancy to old age, it accompanies us as a true friend. Books expand horizons, call for action, cheer up.

Books are one of the main sources of inspiration for discovering new countries. They take us to distant lands and immerse us in the local atmosphere, talk about the mentality of different peoples and the characteristics of their cultures. It’s hard to sit at home after reading travel literature: you want to immediately hit the road, explore new places and see with your own eyes everything that the authors write about.
