In the gallery “Rakurs” of the National Library of Belarus, the exhibition of paintings by Grigory Ivanov “Christmas Bells” has opened.

The iridescent ringing is a symbol of the approaching winter holidays. Looking at the bells painted by Grigory Ivanov, it’s obvious: these bells surely scare away everything bad and predict only the brightest.

The opening ceremony was attended by First Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus Elena Dolgopolova, Chairman of the Belarusian Union of Artists, the Belarusian artist and poet Grigory Sitnitsa, the Belarusian artist, member of the Belarusian Union of Artists Grigory Ivanov, the Belarusian art critic and expert, art director of the author’s non-profit conceptual gallery “Brama”, member of the Belarusian Union of Artists and the Belarusian Union Designers Larisa Finkelstein.

The unique style of Grigory Ivanov conquered the hearts of the guests - his angels, horses, goats, bells, celestial bodies are so charming... By the way, the author called his technique “Svetism”, because all his characters and objects in the paintings look like they glow from the inside, lighting the canvas and captivating visitors to the atmosphere of comfort and warmth.
