Anatoly Drybas’s photo exhibition “My Minsk”, dedicated to the 950th anniversary of the capital, opens on August 22 in Minsk.

To feel the city life, its noise and calmness, look at the morning fuss and evening romantics… And everything through the lens, and then on the photo paper. So appear photos of artists who are in love with their city. The famous Belarusian photographer, member of the photo club “Minsk” and union “Photo art” Anatoly Drybas is one of them. The master has 35 years of professional experience, work in the publishing house “Belarusian encyclopedia n.a. P. Brovka” and many photo albums, dedicated to Belarusian monuments of culture, picturesque places and nature. But the capital has a special place in Drybas’s art. He has recently created six photo albums, dedicated to the city: “Minsk”, “Minsk – the heart of Belarus”, “Minsk in the evening”, etc.

The anniversary exhibition includes nearly 50 author’s documents, made recently. We invite you to make an improvised walk along Minsk, look how the city was changing – new buildings, museums, parks, amusement carousels, exhibition complexes, metro stations. It’s no surprise, you can have a nostalgic feeling to that Minsk you knew earlier, but maybe you’d be delighted to see the changes that happened in the life of the capital. But people say that opinions differ.

Till the end of 2017 the author plans to make three more albums, dedicated to Minsk. We invite you to look at the city through the camera lens of Anatoly Drybas, the artist in love with the capital.

The exhibition opens in the gallery “Atrium” (3 floor) and lasts till October 9, 2017.
The end date of the exhibition can be changed.
