On December 18, the library hosted the opening of the exhibition for the New Year holidays “Christmas Palette”.
The exhibition "Christmas Palette" is organized jointly with the International Public Association of Painters, Graphic Artists, Sculptors, Art Historians and Representatives of Other Creative Professions – the Eurasian Art Community.
The Union and the Orthodox parish of the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God (Tarasovo village) organized the II International Festival-competition of children's creativity. The competition was attended by 460 young Belarusian artists aged 4 to 17 years from all over the country: Minsk residents, Brest residents, Vitebsk residents, residents of regional centers, district towns, numerous Belarusian villages and agro-towns. The best works of the winners of the competition, the most beautiful winter fantasies from children all over Belarus are presented at this exhibition dedicated to the New Year holidays.
The works are united by a common theme – the festive winter before the New Year. Ornamental compositions made with gouache and pencils, cheerful, festive and winter-like mysterious works are on display. Paper-cut symbols of the solemn winter and hand-made Christmas dolls are presented.
The exhibition will be open at the Rakurs Gallery (2nd floor) until January 28, 2024.
The completion date of its work can be changed.
Admission is by the library card or by the social and cultural centre ticket.
