The exhibition of photography “Dalyaglyad” is to be open in the library on July 26th

The exposition is dedicated to the centennial of one of the greenest countries in the world, Latvia, as well as the hundredth anniversary of its main book depository, the Latvian National Library.

Latvian landscapes are famous for beautiful, both natural and manmade sceneries (Belarusian dalyaglyad). Hence is the name of the exhibition.

The pictures of Latvian landscapes will introduce viewers to the treasures of Latvia, inviting to enjoy the country's beauty. The photography will be supplemented with information materials.

The exposition also includes a reading display and the images of architectural and historical monuments of Latvia from the collections of the Latvian National Library.


The exhibition runs in the gallery “Labyrunth” (3rd floor) until September 22, 2019.
The ending date may be changed.

The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the library’s opening hours.
Admission is by library card or by ticket of the library's social and cultural center. Information and tickets may be obtained at the registration desk.

From July 2 to August 5, in the documents of international rganizations of the National Library of Belarus (2nd floor, room 207g), a thematic book exhibition "Modernity and the future of the Earth's Population" takes place. The exhibition is dedicated to World Population Day, the 75th anniversary of the formation of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the 30th the anniversary of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and UNFPA .
