19 April
National Libary of Belarus

This year, the extensive project of the country’s main library is called BiblioLIVE. Indeed, at this time, the “diamond of knowledge” is buzzing with life more than ever. Music, games, unlimited communication and positive emotions are the holiday’s must-have.

Board games Game Portal, Intellectual Game Brainstorming, the popular Mafia, various quests, and also a communicative game Genius Finance are for those who are going to spent time in a noisy company.

The venue Knight’s Move is for fans of chess and checkers. The huge chess pieces are our thing. Take your phones: this is a great time for selfies!

Live music will be at the MusicLIVE venue, in the atrium of the 2nd floor. This evening you will find a lot of positive emotions: compositions in various genres, interactive events and even a fashion show.

The venue In the Labyrinth of Traditions will offer ethnic motifs. Here, guests of the library will be able to join workshops in folk art, songs and dances, fairy tales, games and other entertainment.

In addition, at the BiblioNight you will have a chance to find a true friend, a small, fluffy one that needs your love and care. Together with the public association for animal protection "Aegis", the library will organize the charitable venue Turn Around. Those interested can bring food, medicines, fillers, carriers, litter boxes and everything that is necessary for keeping animals in shelters and halfway houses, make donations, look at animal catalogs, and even get to know some of them personally.

The Vinyl Relax is, perhaps, the most nostalgic venue of the festival. Here you can relax to the touching music from a vintage player, remembering or discovering this especially soft and warm sound of real records.

At the playground (No Adults!) kids will finally be allowed to have a rest from these pesky parents! Books, games, face painting, music, workshops, plays, performances of trained dogs, a science show, a reading zone and much more will not leave your child indifferent.

In addition, the BiblioNight will give you answers to long-standing questions. Anyone can take part in the lectures-trainings Psychology of Conflict and Psychology of Co-dependency.

We are glad to invite our guests to meetings with interesting people of culture and arts, as well as to the temporary and permanent exhibitions.

Follow our updates on the library’s site, Facebook and VKontakte.

BiblioLIVE starts on Friday, 19 April, at 19.00!
