The press center of the library hosted a seminar "Modern solutions of Znanium for libraries: opportunities and features" as part of the virtual reading room events on 19 April.
“Znanium“ is a universal, multidisciplinary electronic library system. The system includes full texts of textbooks, training aid for higher and secondary special education; monographs, dictionaries and reference books, special periodicals on the humanities and natural sciences, economics, law, medicine, religion, pedagogy, etc.
The seminar speaker was Alexey Yemanov, head of the development department of “Znanium” LLC. He introduced the participants to the three–module structure and functionality of the information and educational space “Znanium”, search engine features, interaction services of the system, and efficient use of the reader. Using the example of the Discovery Znanium analytical module, the features of modern discovery systems, text search and analysis services were considered.
Access to the system “Znanium” is open to registered users of the National Library of Belarus and partner libraries in the virtual reading room.
We invite all interested organizations in our country to cooperate on issues related to subscribing to licensed databases and learning how to work with them.
