A series of workshops on using Web of Science for planning, representation and analysis of scientific research studies took place on March 14 and 15.
The platform Web of Science was presented by the company Clarivate Analytics.
The workshops were hosted by the Belarusian State Technological University, the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and the National Library of Belarus.
At the workshops Oleg Syabrienko, the business development manager of the company Clarivate Analytics, introduced the attendees to the principles of formation and the content features of collections on the Web of Science platform, algorithms for applying the basic science-metric indicators, working with author identifiers and the analytical superstructure Journal Citation Report, as well as the possibilities of using the EndNote on-line reference manager for designing scientific publications.
