On April 21, the National Library of Belarus invites you to the action in support of reading "BiblioNight – 2023"!

The theme of this year's campaign is "BiblioImpulse". "Diamond of Knowledge" sends a message to residents and guests of the capital: be with us this evening, replenish your mental and physical energies with knowledge and good mood! The library is accessible to everyone from 7 to 11 p.m., and admission is free!

The festival will begin in the library foyer, where memes will describe the evening's schedule and a dazzling theatrical introduction will usher in the most eagerly anticipated library event. 22 themed playgrounds with a robust programme are available for visitors of all ages and preferences.

For those who are travelling in large groups, there will be master classes in Indian dance and modern ballroom dancing, an active search for enigmatic treasures "Inside the rhombocuboctahedron", a historical trip to the "Silver Age", board games, stories about "imaginators", and a journey to the "Silver Age".

The National Library has planned a concert–lecture of classical music called "Music Salon of the 19th century", a performance by the Chinese students' choir from the Belarussian State Pedagogical University, and a concert programme called "And the Youth Sings in the Heart".

We cordially encourage you to take part in chess and draughts competitions as well as master classes in Chinese chess "Xiantsi" and Japanese chess "Shiogi" if you want to test both yourself and others.

Young guests of Biblionocha will enjoy aquagrim, master classes, theater performances, creative meetings with children's writer Alena Maslo and an informative IT program from the “Ajtilandiia” training center.

For those who want to always learn something new, the program includes lectures by a lawyer, astropsychologist, astrologer, nutritionist, image stylist, "Literary Salon" with a writer Irina Karnaukhova, tea ritual "Three cups of text" and much more!

Entrance to bonus sites: exhibition complex (room 104); “Panorama” gallery (22nd floor), Observation deck (23rd floor) is payable or by chips. You can get chips for active participation on playground sites.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
