An online seminar with representatives of public libraries of the Homiel region took place at the National Library of Belarus on April 29.

The meeting with colleagues was devoted to the possibilities of differentiated use of electronic information resources of the world's leading publishing houses and aggregators.

The participants of the seminar were shown the variety of content of electronic information resources available through the Virtual Reading Room of the National Library. These include fiction, educational and scientific publications, professional periodicals, and special solutions for readers with disabilities. Attention was focused on building up practical mechanisms in the field of remote services for readers in libraries of the south-eastern region of our country.

The Virtual Reading Room is open for cooperation with all libraries and information centres in our country regarding subscription to licensed databases and training to woкk with them.
