The 26th General Meeting of the members of the nonprofit partnership "Library Assembly of Eurasia" (BAE) was held on September 15 as part of the 9th International Congress "Library as a Cultural Phenomenon" honouring the 100th anniversary of the National Library of Belarus.
Heads and top experts from national and state libraries from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan attended the gathering.
The meeting's attendees talked on the BAE's present activities, personnel issues, and the implementation of collaborative plans over the following few years. The colleagues also addressed the project "Golden Collection of Eurasia," approved the creation of the BAE public prize, and established a long-term plan for the growth of BAE for the years 2023–2025 in order to build the shared cultural space of the libraries of the CIS member states.
