On October 15th –16th, 2009, in National Library of Belarus took place the conference “The Business Internet”.
The event had been prepared by the Belarusian Internet-portal and Beltelekom Company in cooperation with the Association of organizations of information and communication technologies Belinfokom.
The conference “The Business Internet” has been held in Belarus for the fourth time. Its purpose is promoting and application of the Internet technologies in business, education, and government.
During plenary and section sessions, issues of advertising and marketing on the Internet, a condition of the advertising market and prospect of its development in Belarus were discussed; the Russian experience in this field was analyzed. Such themes as: the audience of the Belarusian Internet, and legislation and mass-media on the Internet were considered at the conference as well. Leading experts from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and the Netherlands delivered their papers.
