On April 24, 2009, in the Round table hall of National Library of Belarus workers of different sectors of the national economy were rewarded with state prizes.
118 persons – politicians, scientists, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Emergency Control Ministry and Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, professors, employees, and workers received prizes.
Participants of the event were rewarded with medals and honorary titles of the Republic of Belarus.
The ceremony was held according to the decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus of February 6, 2009, № 74; March 17, 2009, № 139; March 31, 2009, № 156 and resolution of the President of the Republic of Belarus of March 17, 2009, № 87.
On behalf of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus S.S. Sidorsky presented the State Prizes.
