On 23 September, the National Library of Belarus hosted a seminar “East View databases: the use of resources and services in libraries”.
The event was prepared by the National Library of Belarus and Ivis Ltd. within the bounds of activities of the Council of Libraries of Belarus for Information Interaction.
Heads and experts of Belarusian libraries and other information institutions interested in the improvement of quality of information user service, and also research workers, university professors and young scientists took part in the event.
At the seminar new East View databases (editions on economics, law and natural sciences) were presented. Attendants of the seminar also became acquainted with service opportunities of PressReader database and features of document collections of the British diplomatic department Cambridge Archive Edition on East View’s platform.
