On June 28, 2007 in National Library of Belarus took place a round table "Activity of libraries in the field of the copyright protection".
In the event participated specialists of National Library of Belarus and National Centre of Intellectual Property: L. I. Voronrtsky, S.A. Sudarikov, I.N. Kovalievich, S.G. Shebeko, and A.V. Bichurin.
During the event were discussed the following issues of the copyright protection: computerizing of libraries, legal regulation of activity of libraries in the field of digitization of materials and creation of electronic libraries, and improvement of standards and regulations. At the end of the dialogue the participants adopted a plan of the further cooperation.
