The National Library of Belarus hosted an Electronic Resources of the Wiley International Publisher for Information Support of Scientific Research workshop on March 11.

Ms Tatiana Kuzminich, Deputy Director General of the National Library of Belarus – Director of Information Resources opened the event.

Ms Natalia Kalitseva, Wiley Publisher Manager presented the options of work with scientific publications on the WileyOnlineLibrary electronic platform with a special focus on the open access information resources.

The researchers were shown the procedure of article publication in international scientific journals.

Important notice for researchers: Wiley has provided a free publication option in open access journals for Belarusian authors. More than 1,500 subscription (hybrid) journals and more than 150 open access journals are available for publications. To assist the authors, a Guidance for Open Access Article Publication has been developed in cooperation with Wiley.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
