On April 10, a museum lesson “Magazines? It’s super duper interesting!" took place. Children and parents made an exciting immersion in the world of magazines.

What do we know about magazines? It turns out that they are so different and there are so many of them! There are school magazines where teachers give grades. There are magazines that you can subscribe to from the post office or buy from a kiosk. How are they different from books, newspapers and online publications? All these questions were discussed together in the lesson.

One of the first magazines in Europe was the "Journal des savants", which had been published in Paris since 1665. The participants of the lesson were able to check it out, since some numbers are kept in the collections of the National Library.

The children also learned about the modern magazine for children "Dudu". Interesting tasks and comics awaited them. The songs "revived" from the pages of the magazine became a real surprise for the participants. The model ensemble of folk song “Sviatkі” (director Ms M.I. Rudkouskaja, accompanist Ms K.A. Paryngouskaja) and vocal group “Pervotsvet” of Minsk City Pedagogical College (artistic director A.I. Dryk, accompanist A.K. Shyla) visited the event.

The event was organized as part of the "The Book Professors' Club" project.
