The 13th All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference, "Library collections in the digital age: traditional and electronic resources, acquisition, and usage", took place in St. Petersburg from March 27 to March 31.

The conference was attended by more than 700 specialists in the field of library collections acquisition, bibliography, book publishing, and information technologies in Russia, Belarus, China, and Singapore.

Experts discussed topical issues related to the acquisition of library collections, organization of access to electronic information resources (including world scientific developments), as well as the modern development of the book market. They shared the experience of national developments in the field of creating electronic bibliographic resources.

Employees of the Bibliology Research Department of the National Library of Belarus Natalia Muzhilo and Maria Shopina made presentations, as well as took part in round tables and discussions of the conference.

The organizers of the educational research project "Preserved Culture" have transferred the four–volume edition of "V.I. Kochedamov. Proceedings of the History of urban planning", CD–discs dedicated to urban planning and architects of St. Petersburg, as well as the publication "Olga Biantovskaya. Poetry of graphics and posters".

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
