On 27 June, a festive event, timed to celebration of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, took place at the National Library of Belarus.
The welcoming speech was made by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Republic of Belarus Viktor Tikhonov and first deputy foreign minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko.
Commissioner of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Doctor of Philosophy Anatoly Tolstoukhov donated to the National Library of Belarus two volumes of scientific editions "Хроника-2000. Украина – Беларусь" (Chronicle-2000. Ukraine – Belarus). Their release was supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine.
The National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine made a concert program.
