On September 12, on the eve of the Day of Libraries, the "captains of the book seas" met in the children's room.
During the event the children got acquainted with the greatest treasures of mankind: the library and a book.
The book is a source of knowledge and a true friend, able to help at any moment, to teach, advise, encourage, tell about important things.
Young readers played the game "What Happens in the Library?" with passion, solved the riddles and learned a lot of interesting things about the main library of the country. In the race of book captains, the children named the books by their authors. Due to the amicable participation in literary quizzes it was possible to support a cheerful atmosphere of a holiday.
In memory of the event each participant made a card in the form of a library.
