From September 12 to 15 Belarus receives the official delegation of the People's Republic of China, headed by the Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China Zhang Xu.
On September 13 the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts held a joint meeting of the Commission on Cultural Cooperation of the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation.
Director of the National Library Roman Motulsky took part in the event and made a presentation of the status and prospects of cooperation of the Belarusian "diamond of knowledge" and libraries of the People's Republic of China in the field of librarianship.
Also on September 13, the Chinese delegation visited the National Library. A special tour around the building was held for honored guests, during which they learned about the history, architecture, resources and potential of the country's largest socio-cultural center.
