A video in which Belarusian classics were revitalized, appeared on Youtube channel "Kniga Belarusi". Among them are Janka Kupala, Jakub Kolas, Maksim Bahdanovich, Uladzimir Karatkievich, Vasil Bykau and others. They move, blink, pose in front of the camera. The author of the project and video reconstruction is Mr Alies Susha, Deputy Director General of the National Library of Belarus.

"What did Belarusian classic authors look like in their youth? We know that thanks to the old black-and-white photos. However, modern technologies allow not only to colour these images, but even to visually revitalize famous historical figures," Mr Susha said. "We tried to do a video reconstruction where they start posing in front of the camera, move, and it looks like they actually were videotaped."

There are classics of Belarusian literature of the 20th century. Not everyone can be recognized at a young age. This is one of the goals of this project: to make them more recognizable.

On video: Maksim Bahdanovich, Janka Kupala, Jakub Kolas, Ciotka, Tsishka Hartny, Maksim Haretski, Zoska Veras, Mikhas Charot, Uladzimir Dubouka, Janka Maur, Piatrus Brouka, Kuzma Chorny, Maksim Tank, Janka Bryl, Arkadz Kuliashou, Ivan Melezh, Jauhenija Janishchyz, Ivan Melezh, Ivan Shamiakin, Nil Hilevich, Uladzimir Karatkievich, Vasil Bykau and Ryhor Baradulin.
