The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will host the 21st International Conference "Development of Informatization and the State System of Scientific and Technical Information" (RINTI-2022) on November 17, 2022.
The United Institute for Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (UIIP NAS of Belarus), the Belarusian Institute for System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere, the Central Scientific Library named after Ya.S. Lupinovich of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Republican Scientific and Technical Library, the Belarusian State University, the National Library of Belarus, all are in charge of organising the event.
The conference's goal is to examine the current situation and issues surrounding the informatization (digital transformation) of the economy, social sector, public sector, and the NTI system in Belarus and abroad. It also aims to develop new approaches to scientific and methodological support for the development of informatization and the information society (IT-countries, IT-states), creation of information technologies, and information infrastructure of these sectors.
The main directions of the conference:
- Scientific, methodological, informational, technological and legal support for the development of digital transformation.
- Automated systems of scientific and technical information, information support for scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities.
- Library and information systems and technologies. Publication activity.
- Artificial intelligence and cognitive technologies in informatization.
Representatives of 49 research organisations, higher education institutions, republican government authorities, and industry circles from 8 nations – Belarus, Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Vietnam – will attend the conference. At RINTI-2022, 80 reports are to be presented (67 Belarusian and 13 foreign). There are 17 Doctors of Science and 39 Candidates of Science among the speakers.
