On January 14, the Panorama Gallery (22nd floor) opened the exhibition "Lines of Good".
Elena Dolgopolova, First Deputy Director General delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony. She reminded the participants that the National Library always supports charitable actions. And the "Lines of Good" exhibition is another step towards drawing public attention to help those who need it.
The event was attended by Alexander Shantarovich, director of the Minsk State Art College, member of the Council of the House of Representatives, Igor Komarovsky, volunteer of the White Stork Children's Fund, Ekaterina Buglak, curator of the charity group "Good Hearts", students.
The exhibition features works by young artists, students and graduates of the Minsk State Art College named after A.K. Glebov. These are graphic sketches depicting Belarusian traditional culture and folklore, national ornaments, urban landscapes, religious motifs, philosophical reflections.
The National Library of Belarus, the White Stork Children's Aid Fund, the Good Hearts Charitable Group and the Minsk State Art College named after A.K. Glebov were the organizers. The organizers hope that the visitors of the exhibition will become more attentive, understand the problems of other people and motivate patrons and volunteers to participate in the help.
In the New Year holidays, when the miracle becomes real, the authors seek to expand the boundaries of the doctor's artistic impact: to carry warmth and care to those who lack them, to do what they want, to tell who can help right now.
The exhibition runs until May 16.
