The Natalia Kaminskaya’s art exhibition "Personal" was opened on March 27 in the"Rakurs" gallery (2nd floor).
You can love your native land being abroad of course, but not everyone is ready to devote whole life, talent and work to it. But Natalia Kaminskaya, the artist from Smalyavichy, is in ardent love with her native land and people living side by side. The exhibition "Personal" is a story told by the artist about her family, friends, hometown and its surroundings.
After she graduated the faculty of Arts and Graphics of the Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov, Natalya returned to her native town of Smalyavichy, having an ardent desire to develop culture and art there. At some point, she became the epicenter of a significant part of the artistic life of the Smalyavichy region.
From 1999 to the present day, the artist teaches at the Smalyavichy Children's Art School. Many of her students are laureates and winners of republican and international competitions. In addition, for the seventh year Natalia organizes an art plein air for art teachers "Summer in the Province" in Smalyavichy, and she takes an active part herself in multiple exhibitions in Belarus and abroad.
Elena Dolgopolova, the first Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus; Larisa Finkelstein, the founder and the author of the concept of the "BRAMA" gallery; Vladimir Rynkevich, Professor of the Folk Decorative and Applied Arts Department of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts; Evgeniy Shuneyko, the Professor at the department of history and theory of arts of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts; the artist Leonid Gomonov; Valentina Filatova, the artist's mother, and Peter Krenin, class teacher, participated at the opening.
The exhibition is organized by the National Library of Belarus and the author's non-profit conceptual gallery "BRAMA", with which the library has repeatedly collaborated.
