On December 8th, 2009, in the gallery “Rakurs” of National Library of Belarus took place the opening of the art exhibition “Art-Krok”.
The exhibition is a joint project of National Library of Belarus and the International Guild of Painters.
The exhibition displays more than 130 works which has been performed during this year. There are works by the well-known painters and masters of photography art, as well as those who have just begun their artistic explorations.
In the event participated: Fyodor Yastreb, the curator of the project, head of the gallery department of National Library of Belarus, chairman of the International Guild of Painters; V.I. Rynkevich, the Belarusian artist, professor, head of faculty of arts and crafts of Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts; E.F. Shuneyko, the candidate of art criticism, docent of faculty of the theory and history of art of Belarusian State Academy of Arts; V.V. Vedrenko, the photo artist, member of the commission of experts of the Belarusian State Association "Photoart"; N.A. Rachkovskaya, the artist, senior professor of Belarusian State University.
Visitors enjoyed musical performances of Olga Nokard, the student of A.M. Shirokov Institute of Modern Knowledge.
The exhibition located in three galleries of National Library of Belarus (“Labyrinth, “Atrium” and “Rakurs”) is open till January 12th, 2010.
