Within the framework of the 18th Minsk International Book Fair on February 19, a solemn ceremony of transferring books by the delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the National Library of Belarus will take place.

The collection of books will present to the Belarusian reader Kazakhstan in all its diversity: centuries-old history, modern life, cultural achievements, rich national traditions.

The event will be attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus, Askar Asanovich Beisenbayev, Director General of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Nur-Sultan, Munalbaeva Umitkhan Daurenbekovna, representatives of the scientific and creative intelligentsia, directors of regional libraries of Kazakhstan.

As part of the ceremony, it is planned to sign an agreement on cooperation between the National Library of Belarus and the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Nur-Sultan.

The ceremony will begin at 2 pm in the atrium on the 2nd floor.
