“All United Music”, an exhibition timed to the 85th anniversary of the Belarusian Union of Composers, runs in the music and audiovisual documents hall (305), from November 1 to December 4.
People of various professions are at the service of the great art of music: singers, musicians, conductors and accompanists, musicologists and teachers, sound producers and critics. However, their work would not have been possible without composers, representatives of the creative profession itself who write music.
The history and the present of the Belarusian Union of Composers are hundreds and thousands of works in various genres that have become popular, or may have been forgotten with time or remained misunderstood. Each author has a hope for continuity, so that the memory of young Belarusians will keep the names of legends, and the high notion of “professional musician” will not disappear from consciousness.
The exposition includes more than 80 documents: books and articles from periodicals, printed music and audio records, which acquaint visitors with famous authors-members of the Belarusian Union of Composers, their creative achievements and the diversity of genres of their works. The exhibition presents the recognized classics and modern masters whose names occupy a worthy place in the universe of arts: I. Lyuban, N. Churkin, N. Aladov, A. Bogatyrev, E. Tikotsky, E. Glebov, G. Wagner, I. Luchenok, V. Kopytko, D. Smolsky, V. Kuznetsov, V. Kopytko, O. Khodosko and others.
The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the library’s opening hours.
Entrance to the exhibition is available by the library ticket or ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
