A distinctive feature of the composer's work is the theatralization of musical forms, the active use of elements of modern composer techniques, the brightness of national color. Over the years, L. Shleg constantly turns to folklore, which is related to the re-creation of archaic images, pagan rites and rituals, singing traditions of the Orthodox and Catholic churches.
